Thank you for your interest in The Longfellow Senior Housing for adults 62 and older. We offer affordable one- and two-bedroom apartment homes designed with your comfort and lifestyle in mind.
Our community has transformed the historic Henry W. Longfellow Elementary School building into modern apartment homes, common areas, and inviting community spaces. A newly constructed building was also added to provide additional housing. The community offers thoughtfully designed apartments along with resident services, parking, beautiful green spaces, and on-site management professionals.
Housing Tax Credit Program
Longfellow participates in the Housing Tax Credit Program, offering apartment homes with income restrictions for qualifying households. Enjoy beautifully maintained housing conveniently located near work, schools, and community resources.
Do You Qualify?
Your total gross household income must be below the limits set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for Cuyahoga County. The Longfellow offers homes at the 30%, 40%, 50%, and 60% Area Median Income (AMI) levels.

Completing Your Application
Please complete the application in its entirety. If any areas do not apply to your household, indicate them with N/A in the appropriate section. In addition to submitting this application, you will also need the following:
- Current state photo ID for every household member over the age of 18,
- Birth certificates for every household member, and
- Social Security cards for all household members.
- Section 8 Vouchers Welcome
Submitting Your Application
Once your application is complete and you have all additional documentation, submit your application and documentation in its entirety to the Management Office.

Once the complete application and documentation are received, we can begin processing and discuss apartment availability with you. A $100 holding deposit will be required to reserve a unit.
