Thank you for your interest in The Longfellow Senior Housing for adults 62 and older. We offer affordable one-, and two-bedroom apartment homes. Our community has transformed the historic Henry W. Longfellow Elementary School building from classrooms to apartment interiors, commons areas, and community spaces. A brand new building was also constructed for additional housing. All apartments are brand new have have never been lived in! Our community also offers in-house residents services, parking, added green spaces, and on-site management professionals. 
  • Satisfactory rental history. (Lack of history will not be a cause for rejection).
  • No previous evictions for lease violations.
  • Good credit history. (Lack of history will not be a cause for rejection).
  • Demonstrated ability to pay rent.
  • All adult members in the household must pass drug screening.
  • Must meet Student Eligibility
Below are outlines of the application process. We hope this helps you in submitting your application.

Completing Your Application:

Please complete the application in its entirety. If any areas do not apply to your household, indicate them with N/A in the appropriate section. In addition to submitting this application, you will also need the following:
  • Current state photo ID for every household member over the age of 18,
  • Birth certificates for every household member, and
  • Social security cards for all household members.

Submitting Your Application:

Once your application is complete and you have all additional documentation, submit your application and 
documentation in its entirety to the Management Office.

Methods for Submission:

  • Drop off the application at our office at The Longfellow 650 E 140th St, Cleveland, OH 44110 during business hours (M-F 9:00 AM 5:00 PM)
  • Send the application via email to longfellow@vestacorp.com
  • Mail the application to our office at The Longfellow 650 E 140th St, Cleveland, OH 44110
Once the complete application and documentation are received, we can begin processing and discuss with you the apartment availability. A $100 holding deposit will be required to reserve a unit.
